How do I upgrade to a paid plan?
Create an account, then choose Pro or Business from the billing page in your dashboard. Pro starts with a 14-day free trial, and your plan limits update as soon as the subscription is active.
What does Pro add that Free does not already have?
Free is a complete product: full scan analytics, folders, bulk import, CSV export, short links, hosted pages, and every QR type. Pro raises the ceiling and unlocks the two features Free does not include. You get 100 trackable codes instead of 5, 12 months of scan history instead of 3 months, password protection, and a custom domain.
What happens if I cancel or my trial ends?
Nothing you printed breaks. That is our print-safe guarantee: existing dynamic QR codes keep redirecting, and your account simply returns to Free plan limits for creating new dynamic QR codes until you upgrade again. Many QR platforms deactivate your codes when a subscription lapses. We do not.
Is the print-safe guarantee really unlimited?
Almost. A code that people are still scanning keeps working, with no end date, whether or not you are paying. The single exception: if your account is closed and a code goes completely unscanned for 24 months, we may archive it. That covers genuinely abandoned codes, never a campaign still in use.
Can I pay yearly instead of monthly?
Yes. Pro is $90 per year and Business is $290 per year, which works out to 2 months free compared to monthly billing. You choose monthly or annual billing at checkout.
Why price Pro at $9?
It sits near common starter pricing while giving a much more useful dynamic QR limit for real campaigns.
What is a dynamic (trackable) QR code?
A dynamic QR code encodes a short link instead of your final destination, so you can change where it points at any time, even after printing, and see scan analytics. In the dashboard we call these trackable codes.
Do static QR codes keep working?
Yes. Static (basic) QR downloads are direct QR images. They do not depend on a subscription after download and keep working forever.
Is there a limit on basic (static) QR codes?
Downloads from the free generator are unlimited and require no account. Saving basic codes to your dashboard has a generous allowance per plan: 50 on Free, 1,000 on Pro, and 10,000 on Business.
Can I edit a printed QR code later?
Yes, when the QR code is dynamic. Static QR codes encode the final value directly and cannot be redirected later.
What does analytics history mean?
How far back your scan dashboards can look. Free shows the last 3 months, Pro shows 12 months, and Business is unlimited. The analytics themselves are the same on every plan, including sources, devices, browsers, operating systems, and countries. Older scans are not deleted, so upgrading unlocks your full history.
Can I build a landing page or share a PDF from a QR code?
Yes, on every plan. Hosted landing pages collect several links behind one code, and hosted PDF files up to 10 MB let a printed code open a menu, price list, or manual you can replace later. Both use a trackable code, so they count towards your trackable allowance.
Do you support custom domains or a developer API?
Both are live. Custom domains are on Pro and Business. Point a subdomain like qr.yourbrand.com at your codes with a single DNS record, and your links carry your name instead of ours. Existing codes are never changed. The developer API is on Business, with up to 10 live keys: create trackable codes, change where they point, download the image, and pull scan data from your own systems.
